About me
I am a fully trained professional celebrant, having completed my training with The Celebrant Circle, where I continue to develop my practice through ongoing professional learning. I create and deliver a wide range of ceremonies, including weddings, vow renewals, baby namings, renamings, adoption celebrations, funerals, living funerals, memorials, and other significant life‑event ceremonies.
I specialise in traditional, non‑traditional, and alternative ceremonies, working closely with each individual, couple, or family to ensure their ceremony reflects their values, personality, and hopes for the day.
Alongside my celebrant work, I am committed to raising awareness and acceptance of Neurodiversity (ND) and supporting people affected by Cancer. In my previous organisation, I spent many years involved in peer‑support communities, eventually becoming chair of both the ND and Cancer support groups. I also worked closely with the Disabled Staff Association, leading events and initiatives that promoted inclusion, wellbeing, allyship, and opportunities for marginalised communities. My projects included ND awareness events, “bring your SEND child to work” days, and a range of wellbeing and allyship webinars.
My celebrancy style is shaped by my lived experience and advocacy. I am compassionate and inclusive, and feel strongly that the ceremonies should respect the identities of the people at their centre.
Although I am based in Essex I am more than happy to travel, especially to London, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
